Hubs has been on a business trip for the last couple of days, and I've been staying alone for basically the first time ever. I've found myself going feral with no supervision, staying up very late, only putting on clothes when absolutely necessary, debating about whether shaving my legs is necessary, just eating meals that consist of random things I find. I've always been amused at my Gran who has lived a life exactly how she's pleased for so long, that her schedule is hilarious. Once on vacation with her, she got up to have Midnight Salad, and she was just overall frustrated that we were trying to sleep instead of watching 2 am Jeopardy. I guess, if left to my own devices, I'm more like her than I thought.
@RickiTarr I've lived by myself for many years, but keep to schedules and systems. My autistic brain automatically adds structure to every day.
@RolloTreadway I think I would have to eventually, I probably need structure to not be too gross
@RickiTarr @RolloTreadway My spouse is away for two weeks, and I’ve only recently cut back on being feral. She’s due back Wednesday and I need to make things presentable instead of the hermit shack it currently is.
