Apparently, it's National Pet Day, so I'll play. Here is my Shylo, a beautiful orange cat lioness. I adopted her from the shelter 363 days ago, they told me she's 8, so her 9th "birthday" is Sunday!

Woke up around 4 am to something sharp touching my back.
It was my cat sleeping like this next to me and dreaming so that its pawns were moving and nails hitting my back.

this boy let me pet him today. kinda. atleast a little bit after months of running away from me. he's still a little shy but loves when i give him treats. he did used to brush against my leg once in a while too
