My first foray into large format portraiture has some issues. Overexposed, thanks to a lack of aperture control on the lens and a slow, hand-actuated shutter. That hand actuated shutter is also responsible for some camera shake, resulting in further lack of clarity.

I made a few mistakes in development: loaded the film the wrong way, so it slipped out of the holder and got scratched up during agitation, and forgot to rinse off the anti-halation layer.

Large green leaves of an unidentified plant extend up from the bottom right corner toward the center and upper right of the image. The veins of the leaves are prominent, as are the stems. Their lamina or sides extend out from the body of the leaf quite a bit.
