An arched corridor with colorful frescoes on the ceiling and walls. The corridor features several stone columns and large arched windows, providing an atmospheric glimpse into a historic space.

The old stone Pearl Street bridge in downtown Napa. Seen from the edge of the Napa Creek, where I was volunteering to clean up on #EarthDay.

The serene edge of Napa Creek just north of the Pearl Street bridge. This spot is wide and serene due to the remains of last summer's beaver dam.

Looking down at a wide spot in a creek where the waters are still and mirror like. The banks are muddy and have some large logs. Above the mud are green grasses and trees. The sky is clear blue and the sun is warm. All is being reflected on the waters.

I love these creatures! Some look very cute, some a bit monstrous and some, like this one, look like they came out of a comic book. But with their wings they are all beautiful!

This time a small detail of the Althaea officinalis as a timeline cleanser. How fascinating is nature! Beautiful in every detail This plant was used in the past for making marshmallows and is still used today for cough syrup. I make tea from it's leafs for myself to care for my airways if necessary

Two (indoor) cats from a recent walks, chilling on a balcony. The orange one made some nice faces.

There is a net around the whole balcony to keep them "inside", and thus away from some fairly active streets.

WIth the bright early evening illumination the scene looks quite warm and cozy.

He is illuminated from behind and to the right of the frame, giving him a bit of a halo of hair lights, especially around the ears. His attention is pointed at something behind and above the camera, which adds to the overall vibe of the image (kind of like he is rising over the horizon like the sun on the morning). It seems rather glorious, if I do say so myself.
