A home to friendly weirdos. The Grey Gardens of the Fediverse (but beige). Occasionally graphically cacographic. Definitely probably not a cult (though you'll never be 100% sure). Beige-bless 🙏

Quick shots from the show at the Meadow. Thanks to DataCats for inviting me. Featuring Vesuvian, Goshupon, The Civil War in France, and (T-T)b

Note regarding the chiptune hashtag that's just The Civil War in France and of course (T-T)b

This will be a horrible scenario for Philadelphia:

Those and other cuts totaling 45% of SEPTA service would be implemented in two phases, starting this fall — if the Pennsylvania legislature doesn’t pass Gov. Josh Shapiro’s latest proposal to increase state aid for mass transit systems.

The Philadelphia Inquirer · SEPTA plans to cut service on dozens of routes and may lay off staff amid funding crisisBy Thomas Fitzgerald

If you live in Southeastern Pennsylvania, SEPTA is planning on reducing service, based on the lack of funding, starting in August. There will also be a fare increase.

"Hearings on the operating budget are scheduled for May 19 at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at SEPTA’s headquarters, as well as on May 20 at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Hearings on the capital portion of the budget are scheduled for May 21 at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m."

No regional rail after 9:00 pm.

Yes, this is the beginning of protracted negotiations, but SEPTA has been underfunded for a very long time.
