Damn, trying to run some Pathfinder 1e, and it looks like most of the work on Pathforge, ScForge, Heroforge and other character creators all fell apart in about 2011. What happened in 2011? 5th edition didn't come out until 2014, and PF2e in 2019. Is that just the point all the maintainers burned out? Or did everyone just move to web based programming that has since vanished when the server went offline.
Does anyone have recommended character creators for Pathfinder?
In #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav tonight, the level 3 party knew they were going to the ratfolk warren to fight invasive giant black widow #spiders. They used four scrolls of delay poison and took anti-venom along for everyone.
The giant black widows were squeezing (-4 attack, -4 AC) in the narrow warren tunnels and didn't even score a hit on the party as they were mopped up.
Oh well, the ratfolk community will still pay them on the agreed terms.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I would pay to cruise over Europe, North America, South America, China and even Russia in one of these things.
My #P1e #Ustalav game got canceled this past Saturday. (For a good reason.) But we were already canceled for the 15th because of Valentine's Day weekend, and people can't make the 8th, so it looks like our next possible date is the 22nd.
That's just a long way out.
Oh well, I guess it gives me more time to think about what intrigue might pop up next session.

Party spoke to Ritambros Deymarian, master-of-arms at Castle Borgoffi, about buying 352 lbs of blood crystal in their possession. Deymarian wanted it, but needed Colonel Joelm Colmar, the castle commander, to sign-off the expenditure. Colmar agreed because Deymarian said it would be used in firearms cartridges, and the prince has expressed interest in that research.
The party got 176000gp (35200gp each) for the sale.

The party just arrived in Caliphas, the capital of Ustalav. They're there to unload a large amount of blood crystal (worth its weight in platinum) they received from a sentient flesh golem.
I don't have any significant plots set-up for Caliphas, but I have a few encounter ideas just in case I need to add a bit of trouble.
I've been trying to learn the city so their visit doesn't feel too shallow.
After today's #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav session concluded, the rogue told me he's 45xp from level 3.
Poor guy, he's so close.
The party received gifts from the patron of a fey messenger they helped out two sessions back, and a standing invitation to visit this "fairy king."
They paid for passage on a galley hauling cargo from #Thrushmoor to #Caliphas and had no more issue than an odd cephalopod that tried to climb on the ship during the night.
I've worked on #miniatures this week that I wanted for my #P1e #Ustalav game Saturday. I wasn't sure I'd have them finished but now all they need is some sand or something on their bases and some sealer on them.
I'm not sure I'll use them Saturday though because last session a player expressed that our travel was taking too long, so I might skip the encounter so they get to the city this session.

Tonight, at the #P1e #Ustalav game, the party met a #faun. He said, "I'm Jack Savoy, you may have heard of me."
A player immediately went where Jack was going and said he had, as in "Jack be nimble, Jack be quick..."
Jack was like, "Yeah, you have heard of me! I jumped over that candlestick."
The level 2 party defeated a #vukodlak (Large #undead, CR 3) and, separately, a vampire pumpkin (Tiny plant, CR 4).

My last scheduled #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav session on 19 October was canceled. The host was sick and said we could play at his place anyway, but it didn't feel right so we delayed. Next session is on 02 November.
I will have had a month to work out next session, but I never feel like I've planned enough. Of course I was ready to run on the 19th, as we canceled only hours before the game, but now I feel less ready than I did then.
My #Ustalav game was canceled this evening. The hosting player was sick and he said we could play anyway, as he hasn't been in his game room so we could just come over and use it without fear of exposure to whatever he's got, but we decided to postpone until our next scheduled session in two weeks.
(I think it would be rude to use his space without him, and I'm not sure the party can survive the planned encounter without his PC.)

They reached Hyannis and made it over half-way to Rozenport.
It's been a quiet couple of days, they saw travelers on the road one night that didn't engage with them, were attacked by wolves the next night, stayed at an inn in Hyannis the night after that, and ended the session at the start of an unknown encounter during the first night watch.
I have #Pathfinder1e tonight. It's been a month since last session. (We usually play fortnightly but skipped one.)
The party heads to #Caliphas, capital of #Ustalav, to sell valuable crafting material, but they're still a LONG way from Caliphas. I'm not sure what's going to happen to them before they get there, but I don't think they'll reach Caliphas this session. The roads are NOT safe.
They might reach Hyannis this session, maybe even Rozenport.
I player messaged last night about our #Ustalav game, which is skipping a session, resuming in early October.
He said his dog ate his character sheet. He asked if I have his rogue's ability scores. I don't, so, when we resume, he'll be re-rolling ability scores.
I think he had pretty good scores, but he'll probably be fine. We're using 2d6+6 rolls for ability score generation for this game, so everybody gets pretty good numbers.
Ran #Pathfinder on 07 Sept. Party had blood crystal to sell so took it to the county seat, but Kavapesta has a surplus so wasn't buying. They could have tried a black market, but elected to make the trek to Caliphas instead.
Party sought treatment for a diseased party member. Lingering disease template is very harsh so I ruled that Remove Disease still works normally during the onset period but with the chance of re-infection.
Had a #P1e #Ustalav session last night.
The level 2 party fought a CR 2 #Undead (called a #Cadaver) from #TomeofHorrorsComplete (#ToHC).
The poor undead was destroyed before its turn. (It was last in initiative order, despite having Improved Initiative feat.)
Oh well, the party needed an easy win after the combat with the mythic fire #Skeleton (CR 2).
A new player canceled last-minute but an infrequent player showed.

The last encounter in my #P!e #Ustalav campaign was unfair. (A creature got involved that shouldn't have been there.)
We ended Saturday's session before round 5, with plans to play in 3 weeks.
We play every 2 weeks, but the hosting player is not available in 2 or 4 weeks, so we are offsetting the schedule by a week. The new schedule was going to start in 3 weeks but everybody is OK for resuming this Saturday now to finish that combat.
I unfortunately ran an unfair encounter last session of #P1e #Ustalav. I wanted 3 "Fire Skulls" (CR 1) and 1 "Mythic Fire #Skeleton" (CR 2) fight with the party hearing a "Fire Skeleton Field Liaison" (fire skelly champ FTR 1, CR 3) give orders to the mindless #undead first...
The party took undead by surprise rather than observe, so the Liaison was in the fight. He tried to parley (skelly army wants tribute) but the party would not talk.
