#Žižek is both right and wrong here. #Neofascism is distinct from classic fascism, and Trump's #fascism is of the sort that #liberalism produces. The right-#libertarian movement was always explicitly #authoritarian and even generic liberalism builds ever greater state power.

While the various groups invovled are doing it for their own reasons, Musk and #PeterThiel are doing it to build the Nue Amerikan Apatheid that their fathers and grandfathers failed to maintain in South Africa.

My cousins and family still are: I call them #InchDeepLibertarians The problem with most #Libertarians is that their definition of #Freedom only extends as far as #TheEndOfTheirNose. I stopped being a #Libertarian when I got out of #TheBubbleOfPrivilege and traveled the world. Then, I understood that Libertarian is a euphemism for #SelfishMotherFucker

I wish I could find a way to disagree with you, I can't.
#DNC needs new leadership or the US needs a viable #ThirdParty.
I'd say that soon there will be enough disaffected #Democrats and #Republicans to constitute one.
I realize the #Libertarian & #Green parties are out there but they have not garnered enough belief to really move the needle.
All I can say for sure is that #wethepeopleoftheunitedstates have allowed #Trump back in power and we need to fix that at the ballotbox.
