In light of teriffs and the rumor that #NOISH is shutting down, may I recommend Envo Masks from NH should we be unable to get masks we know are real?

They impressed me when they started offering the plug for the exhale valve and I didn’t want to buy a whole pack of them, so I wrote to them and asked them if I could purchase just one or two since the early versions didn’t have them, and they sent me a couple for free.

Oh and we don’t have sales tax here (NH USA). I don’t remember if they have to charge you if you do.

This is cool. I don’t have kids so this isn’t for me (if it’s libertarians PLEASE NOTE: NH Libertarians as a group are pro pedo so AVOID if this is them.) But a covid cautious parents group sounds like a good idea.

less risk ≠ no risk

some risk of adverse health effects, disability, destroyed immune systems, death, etc. is something to mitigate

mitigation includes masking, proper ventilation, social distancing, etc.

any time you're in a crowd (indoors, outdoors), wear a mask

do you want people to show up to protests, actions, etc.?

do you want these people united against fascism to be in poor health?

five years is more than enough time to learn a lesson. we might not have five more years. get it to-fucking-gether already

According to this data report the US is reporting 500 #covid deaths a week. So I guess we’re down to killing off a 9/11 amount of people every 4-6 weeks instead of every week, except you know it’s worse if they are admitting to 500 a week. What states are even reporting these things at this point?

i'm always extra-incensed by the extreme disconnect my entire queer theories or sexuality studies classes operate from around covid! we can talk about hiv/aids, informed consent, eugenics, etc all the while everyone in the room is maskless & there is always at least one coughing someone was talking about feeling safe in queer spaces w/their multiple marginalized identities, which is very real! but even still it's ironically not inclusive to further marginalized folks. so vexed by the incessant disconnect so i had to share this:

folks really gotta start questioning how radical they really are because not being covid cautious during this mass disabling event is at odds with being inclusive, accessible, intentional, community oriented, creating safe space, practicing consent, siding with the marginalized.

Did you guys know there is a LIFETIME cap on Medicare part A coverage for inpatient mental healthcare?? I guess this means after 190 days you get 100% of the bill.

I also learned this morning that if you’re in the hospital more than 60 says your “copay” is $419 a day, until day 61 when you pay $838 a day.

I have no idea what 60 lifetime reserve days mean, but it looks like even if you have medicare repeat covid infections will wreck your body AND your finances.
