We knocked on a few doors in the next street trying to find out who keeps ducks locally but everyone was at work. Tom pressed one Ring doorbell and it answered: “Hohoho! Have you been naughty this year or have you been nice? Please leave a message, MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Tom sounded rather self conscious speaking a message about a lost duck into a doorbell

@helenclayton I honestly don’t know, as darkness fell it remained on the neighbours’ roof. I’ll go out and look for it at first light
