I have a deep memory of getting my second ever computer in Highschool (my used Pentium3 had just died and my parents bought me a new one), and I got it set up and I was excited and my sister dismissively said "it's not new, all the windows look the same as your old one". I had this moment of "that's what I spent the last hour getting into place though!"

@djm62 exactly! I am also a tiling window manager person! But I suspect our two configs are different! Because we both *want them to be* and that's cool!
