@RickiTarr I commented on somebody else's post that if the sandwich filling is awake, it's likely not vegan.
Are we against sandwiches now because they were named after an earl? That's punching up. I approve.
@arisummerland @RickiTarr yes, that's why we call them Butties, no posh sandwiches here 
@Research_FTW @RickiTarr I've often wondered about the origin of the name "butty". Does it always have to have butter on it? I'm incredibly literal, so that's what I always assumed, but I will take in any contradicting information willingly.
@arisummerland @RickiTarr nah, it depends how you make it, but it just has to have at least one filling. A jam butty would just have jam on it. A chip butty usually has butter or margarine. At least that's how it works in Northern UK.
