I just did it! Well... I started it... I shared a snap of my Pixelfed profile on IG and I wrote a long post about being sad about metas choices and I'll be closing my account at the end of the month.
I will miss following certain friends! I will miss seeing the posts of the Sheldrick orphaned elephants, of all the lovely dogs...
But I just can't stick around there... I can't support that...

I have asked friends to each out in other ways. I'm afraid many won't. They probably won't even see the post... And that's a shame. But I guess that's just the way it is...

I wish I could ditch WhatsApp too, but many companies don't offer email anymore. It's either calling or WhatsApp. So I'll have to stick to that. But I do have Signal and Matrix. Doing my best to steer away from the greedy nazi's...

Ah well... Let's see what will happen!
