:neuro: Pixy's Journey :v_bi:

of a slightly wet, but relaxed, Dutch Pixy 🧚🏼‍♀️ (Sunday, 17/11/2024).

TL;DR it was a silly weather day, with some good rains... And I've been able to relax with some gaming as well. 😊

The alarm woke me this morning. I woke up and saw loads of notifications, which made me quite happy! And then, I forgot to hop on the scale, as I was eager to get to the messages 😂. I cared for Arwen and took my meds. Then, onwards to the gym!

I enjoyed my protein shake, while I was busy catching up to a sweet friend. It's always so lovely to hear from them. I rode the seated bike while reading and answering the messages, and before I knew it, my leg started to give out and I'd done 40 minutes already! Wow! A nice massage in the chair and then I headed back home.

The weather witches 🧙🏻‍♀️ promised rain, and then some more rain, so it was gonna be a wet night. I washed up, changed clothes, had brekky. Then I got ready for the wet walkies. Arwen didn't seem to mind too much, and we walked the longer route, with the added new bit, so she really felt OK. 😊 It was dry at some moments, but it never lasted too long. Unfortunately... I tried to work a bit on my blog, but typing with an umbrella and leashed dog can be a challenge. 😉

When we got home, I headed to the PC, and worked on my blog a little. Then I headed downstairs and fixed some food. Arwen wanted walkies after that, so we headed out again. Just shorter walkies this time though.

After we got back, I got my tablet and I read a little. Then I wrote a bit for my blog. Another short walkies with Arwen and then I switched on the purple beast. I tried a new (to me) game called "Cult of the Lamb". Then, Arwen hinted that dh had to pee. I quickly let her outside and she sped off! Apparently she didn't need to pee that badly... But she'd seen the neighbor and her dog pass by! Sneaky little brown gall! She did a wee and got some snacks. And then she was disappointed that I took her back inside.

I logged in NMS and was joined by a sweet friend. We both had some things to do, so we chatted while we played our bits. Then, my quest didn't work as it should... 🤔 Another bug when playing in coop and doing certain quests, it seems. But... I needed an item to make progress, so I had to try and get another one of the items... 🤔 Another sweet friend joined and she had the item for me, yay, bless! I traded her with something she needed that I had, and I went back to single player and continued the quest line. 😊

Around 13:30 I logged off and prepared for the bedtime routine. The neighbor texted me, just as I was texting her, that the dog wanted out! 😂 Well, mine shared that feeling! 😇 So we headed out for walkies.

I went to bed after that and quickly fell asleep. I woke once for the loo and then again, about half an hour before my alarm. A new day, a new week even, had begun!

@weirdfolks

@PixysJourney I didn't see you today, I see you just posted an hour ago. We had rain too, or drizzle. I have lots to do outside but the weather deters me. I thought about a morning walk before daylight but I didn't. I need to borrow my neighbour's dog again, I do that in spring to get plant clippings. No one notices a dog walker picking up things, but they look suspiciously at you in the dark without a dog LOL

@Rasta good day Rasta!
I've mainly shared things during my night and morning, as I've been gaming the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon. 😊
Yeah it's very wet everywhere at the moment...
Hahah yeah with a dog, no one wonders what you're doing on the streets at night! But I walked the SniffBook walkies alone once, when Arwen was with my parents, and it made me more aware of being out alone in the dark, if that makes sense.
Owwww that's a nice way to get the clippings and I guess the dog enjoys it as well! 😁

@PixysJourney The neighbour's dog, and dogs before her, loved me. He thinks I'm some kind of dog whisperer. He screamed at his dog for not coming when he called, and closed the door in anger. The dog came to my door when she couldn't get in, and I took her home. It's like having my own dog that I can play with, and goes home when I am tired LOL All his dogs were Pit Bulls but gentle and affectionate. But big, and can knock my wife down excitedly. I get down and roll around with them on ground

@Rasta Awwwww those snaps are sooooo cute!! Pitbulls can be such sweet pals, especially when they are raised properly! But I've had an American Stafford, and she was as bouncy as the pitbulls you describe! So I understand their excitement 😉.
It's so nice to be able to enjoy a dog, even when it's not your own... I'm glad the neighbor doesn't mind sharing his dogs with you. 😊

@PixysJourney Ahem, that's the real name of the Pitbull, Stafford. LOL, when my neighbour tells others what breed it is, he says Straff, not pitbull, that has a negative image .
His were raised right. Most gentle and loving dogs you could own, or live next to

@Rasta I totally understand, pitbulls have a bad name... Because they've been abused by bad humans... 😔
Gina was the most gentle gall! She just wanted to cuddle and snuggle as much as she could, but many people turned away due to her looks. 😔

@PixysJourney
It's always the owner, IMO. Another friend is on his second Labradoodle. He claimed the first was out of control and rehomed it to get better control. It's the same, not the dog, it's the owner. I'd have no trouble training that first labradoodle.

@Rasta indeed! The owner, but also the breeder... As of they're bred wrong, it can affect their brains and then it's still not the dog's fault...
A good and caring owner can make such a huge difference in the life and behavior of a pup... 😊
