My friend sent me a photo of her black tuxedo #cat - totally zonkered out atop a couch. It looks like she's gonna topple over but she's been there for 2 hours like that - kitty snores n all
This is a teaser lead up to another black tuxedo cat personal share coming up soon From a different cat rescuing friend.
One of my #CatRescuer friends is now working with this black tuxedo #feral. It kept going to her home & no one has claimed this cat. It was in pretty rough shape. My friend is getting veterinary care for this cat, this week. She has the kitty in a studio workshop space. Cat has eaten a lot; chowed down like it's been starving. Cat is still scared of people but my friend is very patient with cats & will slowly build trust.
@PhoenixSerenity awww, that poor baby.
@DrSuzanne This kitty won the rescue cat lotto with my friend taking it in. She's a huge cat lover & this kitty is going to be very loved/spoiled
@PhoenixSerenity Kitty certainly deserves it.
@PhoenixSerenity I found this little one in the woods near my house a few months back. She's now living her best life.
@PhoenixSerenity @DrSuzanne
What a sweetie. Thank you for taking her in & giving her a good life.
Megs & Laurie send luv & purrs, & wish you many happy years with her.
@SurrealSeal @DrSuzanne It's my friend up island who rescued this kitty. We think it's a male but unsure at this time. She will know more after veterinarian checkup.
@DrSuzanne @PhoenixSerenity
We made that mistake with Laurie (we had thought he was probably female, & named him Laurel). He’s still gorgeous, even though we were mistaken. He was a ‘gift from the angels’ (he fell out of our hedge - we don’t know how he came to be there ).
@SurrealSeal @DrSuzanne I know a few male cats with female names & vice versa. It's all good - as long as they're well loved & cared for
@PhoenixSerenity @DrSuzanne
This was my lovely Chazz. She had a unisex name bc even the vet couldn't be sure....
I refused to take her in for 'castration' until we found out, but when she had her 1st season I knew she was female.
She was very tiny, but was the undisputed boss of 6 dogs, and lived to 18 1/2. She was a very soporific little cat - within minutes of her jumping onto my lap, or curliing up in my arm I was asleep.
@SurrealSeal @DrSuzanne Beautiful cat. What a loving long life she had with you
Asher is undersized with a shorter tail than most cats his age. He's very compact.
