@tayfonay This may only seem true if you rely on social media to inform yourself about new research. I am in the middle of a whole lot of #clinical #research that does not at all match this comic's image. As a trial statistician, I see doctors who for 80% really aim to improve the lives of their patients. (my work is to push the remaining 20% to focus on patients' gains and do this scientifically soundly)
I felt the need to reply, since I think this negative representation is slightly harmful.
