Ok, we're now on the second day of talking about this apparent assassination attempt, which is a day and half more than we ever spend on school shootings when people actually die.
@roknrol you've got a point. Maybe we should start talking about assassination attempts in the same "Oh, well. These things happen. Maybe we just need more guns." tones reserved for school shootings.
@roadriverrail I don't see any reason that politicians should be protected by anything more than the same hopes and prayers our children get. Goose/Gander/etc
@roknrol I mean, we've got to protect them kids from "gender ideology" or whatever the latest "mind virus" is, but guns? Oh, well, can't do anything about that. Amazing how children are simultaneously something we must spare no effort to protect *and* a common target of something we apparently can't stop.
@roknrol free publicity! There's an election coming up! Who cares if the great unwashed die! ( honestly being a good shot ain't hard either the first one was an idiot or a fantastic shot take your pick) either way the media don't give two shits about us. Only way for it to stop is for everyone to stop watching the news. You'll still be in the dark just not lied to constantly
