Some really shoddy reporting on benefits. Why can no journalist seem to get the facts right?
It’s Personal Independence Payment, *singular*, abbreviated as PIP (not Pip).
It’s an *in work benefit*, it’s not related to your earnings, so people don’t “come off PIP because they get a job”.
This is basic stuff and not hard.
@purplepadma Their simplistic, hateful view of disabled people, working or not means they’ll never extend themselves to find out actual facts and report accurately. B_ds the lot of them. Actually shaking and fuming this afternoon.
This is a death sentence for some and these absolute ghouls of ministers will gleefully rub their hands and say ‘look that one died, we don’t have to pay them anything now.’
@purplepadma because it doesn’t suit their right wing employers’ interests, and the “journalists” in question are clearly content with propelling hate and misinformation.
