Just to summarize again for my own personal notes:
Hachyderm IO: can follow Threads dot Net, has 500-character post-length limit
Beige Party: cannot follow Threads dot Net, has 11,001-char. post-length limit
Mastodon Social: can follow Threads dot Net, has 450-char. post limit, defederated by many indie Mastodon instances because of dislike towards Gargron (whether ethical or personal etc.)
Mastodon Cloud: cannot follow Threads dot Net, has 450-char. post limit, defederated from many instances because of various distrust issues (large number of registered accounts, crypto/blockchain associations, refuse to be explicitly an anti-Nazi safe-space, etc.)

@ferdiffz why are you making a note of the character post limit?
I'm sure that doesn't have anything to do with why certain admins decide to block threads...
For example, I have a 5000 character limit and can follow people on threads because I don't break their rules and have a public timeline and I haven't personally blocked them.
@BeAware It's been several months and I still get mixed up which of my Mastodon accounts can/does federate with Threads, and which cannot/doesn't. Also I keep on mixing up which of my Mastodon account does or does not federate with which account.
TL;DR: These are my personal notes. Me dumb-dumb, me cannot remember.
