Folks! I am strongly considering a move from pixelfed to mastodon for offroad.town, which will likely mean I’ll have to re-follow all of you, and any of you who follow me will have to re-follow me. Unless there’s some sort of export/import that im not aware of yet.

This is just a heads up! if you see a new follow request from me, that’s why.

@faraiwe@beige.party Yea, it’s about compatibility…. Mastodon is getting more mainstream support for things like.. social media re-share apps! Pixel doesn’t work with those, it also doesn’t seem to like talking to Peertube, which is annoying since im sharing media there as well. Mastodon doesn’t seem to have these issues.

Nonetheless, I like how simple, and to the point it is. Instagram, before it turned to shit. People sharing pictures, interesting, fascinating i agery, and an ability to talk to the person posting them. No ads, no algorithm.
