Tempe AZ right now with Bernie and AOC at stadium!

We never made it to parking! There must be 20,000 people there! Doors opened 2 hours ago and we think maybe 10,000 still outside in the longest lines I’ve ever seen! This better make the news! Bernie and AOC must be on fire!

This is 3 blocks away, 2 hours after doors opened. That is a looping line going down 3 blocks from the stadium entry, then it loops back on inside of sidewalk. There are 3 entry points surrounding stadium. Each is like this!

Staggeringly long lines of people trying to get into ASU Mullett Stadium to see Bernie and AOC tonight! We are in my car and spent an hour within a mile of here trying to find any way to get parking. The lines on our right are on a wide sidewalk and loop 3 blocks down from an entrance and double back. Maybe a few hundred people visible in this photo. The area is partially sheltered by canopies over parking.

Local news nothing online. Social media for largest news AZ Central shared good video on Threads but I won’t link here to Threads. We picked up estimate 15k capacity in stadium, 5k capacity overflow area AND thousands outside who never made it in. Bernie and AOC came all the way outside to speak afterwards to remaining crowd. I am still betting all local news will downplay it and those videos on Threads won’t be published online tomorrow. I am sure my guess was pretty good - 15k to 20k or more.

@davepolaschek Ohhhhhh! I am so happy about this. Sending to my granddaughter who is 23 and lives 5 miles south of here but never heard it was going to happen! She’s not listening to news but may be around Fox News on occasion.
