Most Americans are not aware of this, but the Trump folks want to do away with many if not most educational supports for children in public school who have disabilities. My own son now 45 would not have achieved his astounding success without solid school support that started in Iowa when he was born! In Iowa the law said “from birth to 21”. My son had his first therapists and teacher come to our home when he was 9 month old. I’m so afraid of this form of eugenics that is slowly taking over education in the US.

@cobalt123 He probably thinks euthanasia is the better option, to benefit the pool of healthy strong Arians as himself…
@Huntn00 Prolly a double whammy as it is often the case these children get Medicaid and Social Security Income. When my son was youngest one parent couldn’t work to be able to care for him. Also by accepting Social Security aid money for him he we had to qualify as low income. The entire family had to earn less than $22,000 a year when he was little. So the point is, get those weak people off any assistance, the Losers. This is all part of a whole. One cannot only feel they are pealed off because of one issue. It really interconnects with ALL US society.
So far the efforts to resist seem very small because there are so many different issues. The science folks separated from 1st Amendment folks vs immigration protests vs federal workers vs veterans and so on. IT’S ALL OF US!!!!
@cobalt123 A huge number of citizens rely on the existing Federal social safety net, that #TheHeadLiar is merrily shredding, without a care about the overall stability of society, cutting taxes for millionaires/billionaires ensuring a National funding, debt crisis, as he ushers forth the Harsh, Stick In Your Eye, Trump (overthrow the FedGov) Chaos Days?
The real question: Will the majority accept their teats in his pliers, as he snickers?
Feel you. My mom worked for 25+ years as an educational assistant, sometimes with kids that had learning issues, sometimes with ESL kids, sometimes with behavioral issues, etc. It was all basically "the same job," and underpaid.
The work has never been properly recognized, but doing away with it entirely is inhuman.
