Which operating system is obviously superior?
(Was tempted to include TempleOS, but that would have been too easy a win)
@bazkie
I cannot answer that question, OS/2 is missing.
@momo I do wish OS/2 would have lived on and still be relevant today! Would give us a nice extra option..
@bazkie ah, choosing chaos today, i see
@bazkie
Okay, since you are obviously trying to start a fedi war, I will try to lend you a hand:
Chrome is obviously the superior OS, because you can run any application in it, simply by starting a docker container in a tab (using Wasm workloads, Qemu.wasm or Qemu.js).
This finally puts a stop to all those OS discussions, since you can now use native Windows, Linux and MacOS applications in parallel.
@wakame I'm.. I'm feeling sick.. you MONSTER!!
@bazkie
"Yeah, I am a 'server administrator'. Every morning, I check if the server tabs in my browser are still open."
I think there should be a "sick IT" competition.
Like a programming contest for bad code, but for infrastructure solutions.
Last week, I had an idea for using Excel as a build system, and at least in theory, it works well. Too well.
@phanecak that was the good stuff
