You are you, and that’s really cool. It’s okay if you’re trying to be a better you, that’s admirable. We could all stand to be more steady, more settled, more successful, or more learned, or more whatever. That’s good and right.

But don’t let anybody tell you that the you you are right now isn’t good enough. You were born good enough, and you’ll always be good enough, even if you’re not exactly where you want to be right now.
