A waning moon on the longest night/shortest day of the year. Not that you could tell it’s the shortest day of the year here in the Houston area since it’s so bright and sunny right now.

It is rather chilly though at 45°F

The waning moon can be seen just above the tree tops of pine trees and oaks against the deep blue cloudless sky.

@WrenArcher I’m also in Houston area and it’s great right now. Winter here is like fall/spring up north. Finally wearing a wool sweater though with the heating cranked up in every business that was a tactical error

This is the struggle that is living in this area. The heat inside retail places is set at near the Fourth Circle of Hell temps and in the spring/summer they have their AC set at Meat Locker Equivalent temps.
