There's some misinformation floating around on Canadian vs US health expenditures.
The US is already spending more on healthcare per capita in public funds alone, almost double our spend. You could have the best healthcare system in the world with your current funding and then some.

The Economist has been saying this for years. Even the capitalists that run this magazine know that public health systems are more efficient.
@Sir_Osis_of_Liver@beige.partyYes, exactly. There was a UN sponsored study about 20 years ago of private versus public health systems in Africa, where the mix made it easier to compare with fewer variables.
The public systems were cheaper to operate and had better outcomes.
