This guy put this so eloquently:
"I would like a government that is led by people who have a humane vision of the future."
"Weak men create hard times."
@RickiTarr Perfectly said, Ricki!!
@RickiTarr Strongmen create hard times; strong people fix them.
@RickiTarr I am old and weak! Am I to blame for the hard times?
@bobjmsn More weak of character lol, and I think you're just fine there
@RickiTarr Phew! Thank you. I would hate to feel that I am personally responsible for all the current ills in the world!
@RickiTarr What's interesting is how little any of the mainstream parties are discussing how they are going to have to move every home, business and piece of infrastructure from all our coasts, and what are we going to do with those people in the face of an already out of control housing crisis?
This is a post about Canada but it's going to apply in America too.
@PatrickoftheG Right, they just say, We have to do something about this problem, and there are pretty simple answers to this, but they don't want answers they want to throw their hands in the air and pretend it's unanswerable.
@PatrickoftheG @RickiTarr hollow out the Rockies
@RickiTarr “every company he has built is built on federal money, and here he is destroying the federal government and pulling the ladder up after him”
@RickiTarr Unfortunately we have a lot of voters who just want entertainment while they watch the world burn.
@davew Judging from the town halls I've been watching, not for long
@RickiTarr If the temperature really rises, watch for a war declaration or martial law. Anything extreme and not to our benefit just to change the conversation and continue the distraction.
@RickiTarr and I'd like a cheese omelett.
This being America, a humane governement might be more affordable.
