beige.party is one of the many independent Mastodon servers you can use to participate in the fediverse.
A home to friendly weirdos. The Grey Gardens of the Fediverse (but beige). Occasionally graphically cacographic. Definitely probably not a cult (though you'll never be 100% sure). Beige-bless 🙏

Ricki Crush Bandicute Tarr

If you asked someone to bring you a little treat, what things would be a little treat to you?

@RickiTarr Some dark chocolate sponge candy - IYKYK, right @LikeItOrLumpIt

@CoachMark @RickiTarr

Yum, I'll have some right now. I've been eating one or two pieces a day.

@RickiTarr "One could REFINE the soup with one or two boars"

@RickiTarr Deviled eggs, or warm cornbread, or a handful of pepperoni.

@RickiTarr some kind of individually-sized bakery item, like a muffin or doughnut.

@RickiTarr flowers, homemade baking, book/ad-free magazine, pretty card/stationery

@RickiTarr A nice coffee (could be made or just a bag of nice grounds), fresh scones or similar from a wee bakery or farm shop, stuff like that.

@RickiTarr Shortbread biscuits and a large mug of proper tea to dunk them in.

@anarchic_teapot Was just contemplating making my second cup, you reminded me of the tin next to the TV! @RickiTarr

@anarchic_teapot Been saving the last two forever. Actually bought last summer in Scotland. I can confirm they still taste crumbly and buttery. Piping hot cheap black tea with milk. @RickiTarr

@RickiTarr A Family Size bag of Doritos.

_Don't look at me like that. Dunno what you're "treating" on, but this <pats bag> is mine._

@tezoatlipoca Why are they so good and so bad at the sane time

@RickiTarr when she brings me the little package of Lorna Doon cookies when she donates blood 🥰

@RickiTarr depends on context. When i lived in france, anything from the patisseries on the way home. In swedish winters, hot cocoa and codeine

@RickiTarr expertly made pain au chocolate - i am salivating

@catsalad @RickiTarr plural. Way too many cookies for the occasion. Like four trays. If I have the time, two different kinds.

Edit: I misread the original toot. I was stating what I would bring. Not what I would want to receive. I will not delete this mistake.

@RickiTarr some kind of vegan snack. Mostly sweet stuff. Maybe some savoury stuff. Nougaty or chocolaty stuff is always good.

@RickiTarr Iced hazelnut mocha with extra ice from a local chocolate company

@RickiTarr About £1,000,000

@RickiTarr
Toasted tea cake / hot cross bun. Still warm so the generous layer of butter is melting through

@RickiTarr These days, even the smallest of things is a treat to me… So I guess even a cup of coffee would be a treat…

@FritzAdalis @RickiTarr @catsalad

Fry that up and serve it on toast with mayo, and I'm in! 🤤

@RickiTarr A cherry-filled fried pie sealed in wax paper wrapping.

@RickiTarr A little battery op or solar candle.

@RickiTarr
There is this terrible for me new product at Costco. I bought the bag for a long ten hour drive and thought I would share it when I got home. It is little packs of indi individually wrapped cotton candy with freeze dried strawberries throughout the cotton candy. I can't stop thinking about them and am afraid to find out if they were only sold ten hours from me or if they are available nearby.

@Adventurer @RickiTarr
Have you tried the strawberry yogurt covered pretzels? I thought they would be bad, but I was wrong. So tragically wrong.

@RickiTarr floof love 🐕 😺 or a story read aloud from The Dodo.

@Caiotekit Same, an apricot danish and good coffee 😋

@RickiTarr Cakes, sweets, biscuits, all sorts of things. Would also accept a hug.

@RickiTarr@beige.party the comfort of friendship (this sounds cheesy but i could really use a presence that i could hug and cling onto)

@RickiTarr
A slice of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting from the grocery store bakery department.

@RickiTarr Some 85-90% dark chocolate and some mixed nuts.

@RickiTarr It depends entirely on my mood. Right now? Chocolate.

@RickiTarr Snuggles, lo-fi, Thin Mints, & praise

@RickiTarr
As I get older I find just trying something new is great, my "favourites" are a bit.. stale.

A new chocolate with a weird fruit in it? Count me in!
