I've finished #KillMeLoveMe #cdrama. I actually liked the end. I know there were complaints, and that it might not have followed the novel, but how it ended made complete sense to me. The writing, however, totally fell apart for me in the middle. Like they stopped paying the writers for 6-7 episodes. The start was great. I liked the end, but the middle fell apart.
Now on to The Story of Pearl Girl. I'm excited to see what Lusi brings to the role. She usually plays quirky, yet sweet girl next door type roles. This one looks much more dramatic and stabby.
@QueenOfCoffee nice to meet another fan of the drama! I came around to the ending after some time. I do like my happy endings 
. But honestly what kept me going was the stellar performances from the leads, so rare in this genre...
@liztai I'm ok with tragic endings. Like One and Only was a masterpiece.
Anyway, I'm starting to struggle a bit with Pearl Girl. It starts strong, but around episode 16... I won't spoil it if you haven't started it.
At least Fangs of Fortune is way better than I anticipated it would be.
@QueenOfCoffee don't worry about spoiling me. I am not attracted to Pearl Girl at all as I'm not interested in the story and ... I am not a ZLS fan lol. I'm waiting for the drama to end to evaluate if I should bother. FoF I may try after it ends, but it's too chaotic for me tbh. Currently loving Snowy Night! Melancholic wuxia is my jam.
@liztai I kinda want to watch Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, but Esther Yu's voice.... That's one actress I wish they used a VA for. 
@QueenOfCoffee Aahaha. For once, apparently, she suits the role. I have no interest in Love Game as I really don't like transmigration stories, and also yes, Esther. That voice was the main reason I couldn't bear Love Between Fairy and Devil. And tbh I really don't find her a good actress. (Fortunately this is not Reddit or Weibo or I'll be murdered for saying this lol)
@liztai lol. Right?! All my Viki reviews get down voted ever since I said that Only For Love was garbage. I said the script was a waste of Bai Lu & Wang Hedi's talent (although, I think Bai Lu does best in costume dramas anyway).

@liztai thank you. I feel vindicated. How they got 40 episodes where the only plot line was misunderstandings due to poor communication is beyond me.
