One of the lovely sights you can see & admire, while exploring the coastal temperate rainforests in BC.

@RandomSarah I was out in the wilderness in 1994, trying to protect old growth forests from being logged at 2 different resistance camps on Southern Vancouver Island.
A lot of old growth has been clear-cut since you visited.

We really need to conserve the remaining old growth not in parks & make ecocide a real crime against humanity.

@RandomSarah It takes a global village of concerned citizens willing to do what they can to protect irreplaceable, biodiverse ecosystems that sustain lifeforces which all living beings depend upon for survival. Humans who become too disconnected from nature & too dependent on capialism, usually become greedy inhumane folks, who contribute to destroying ecological habitats & try to justify the destruction, after the fact.
