When local #HateCrimes happen to me/my family/my #BIPOC friends - we don't call cops. The cops have abused us too many times for us to expect they'd protect us over bigot perpetrators who attack us. We can't trust cops here who have abused powers of authority & abused/traumatized me/my family/our BIPOC friends & community. We protect ourselves because no one else will.
I've told 6 different #Canadian cop detachments that the reason almost all citizens hate them is due to their ongoing #SystematicRacism, zero protection for whistle-blowers, giving raises to worst of the worst police brass, not challenging their corrupt union leaders & "just following orders" like fucking Hitler SS.
Don't defend fucking institutionalized cowards - with badges/guns - over defending innocent citizens killed/maimed by those same fucking cops/corporate mercenaries you tried to defend.
For those who care about 'good cops' - why the fuck are you not fighting, tooth n nail, for genuine public accountability & protections for the very few brave enough to be #police #WhistleBlowers?!?!?
Why aren't more BC/Canadian citizens angry as heck over the fact our governments gave BILLIONS to RCMP/RCMP CIRG to break the law & assault activists & protect industry over humanity? Because of fucking corporate lobbyists powers. MONEY & POWER - #Colonizers bent on capitalism - never really change their selfish & inhumane priorities/policies unless forced to.
Here's the thing, for police apologists - I don't ever call any cop a friend. What I have said in past & will probably say again is that some cops I've had to deal with are more cilivilzed than their colleagues. I've had to deal with multiple different police over 30+ years of mostly frontlines activism & I know who to talk to & how to talk to them without putting more of my comrades in more dangers. People like me do not try to befriend ANY cop - unless we are doing recon/fake ops on them to draw out more info & yes - we have used male weaknesses over sex to do it. No regrets about having to fake liking/flirting with fascists & getting them drunk so they'd spill stuff they're not supposed to tell anyone but enjoy bragging about, if we giggled & complimented them on their cruel atrocities.
We sacrifice our own lives/safety to obtain info from the enemy's mouths. We are women of lifelong colonial resistance

Our physical bruises always heal. We won't stop fighting for justice. Anyone who thinks war survivors will stop fighting to save lives of those under colonial terrorism attacks is a fucking FOOL. You're talking about people who have learned to survive through unimaginable to Western eyes atrocities of evil. I am in FULL #SOLIDARITY with #PALESTINE. Almost every single war survivor on Earth is on that side.

I just am unable to take more heavy physical assaults because my osteoporosis is progressing & I'm unlikely to recover if I get brutally assaulted by cops again. I was hospitalized for 6 months after brutal loggers & combo RCMP attacks in early 2000s. They almost killed one of my comrades back then - she was in a coma for 4 months after brutalities from violent loggers. I was threatened with rape more times than I can count on two hands. No media even reported it back then but did what we see today - copy/paste govt/RCMP lies. When there was so much evidence both RCMP & BC government broke treaty laws. It is very fucked up. BC government also loves to tokenize Indigenous folks who have capitalist wants & don't fight hard for their own peoples - as long as their individual personal wallet is thickened.
My Vietnamese Indigenous family burned people like that to ashes for good reasons - facing & dying by colonial gunfire. They died, fighting for what is right
Some of you very privileged folks are scared to even attend any local protests. Yet, you're critical of people who do. You are fucking cowards & you're the reason neoliberalism feels comfy pulling into outright fascism.

@PhoenixSerenity The ordeal you’ve gone through is horrific, to say the least… i don’t know how you do it, but you do. At the very least: Thank you for all you do! I know that we are in different countries in North America, but if we had more of you here in the States, we’d be better off…
@rlstone4dems I keep fighting for future generations because they all deserve better than what all current governments are doing. One does not need to bear any children, to care deeply & fight endlessly to protect the kids & try to provide a better & more equitable future for them.

@PhoenixSerenity I have not seen anyone try to discuss a thorough investigation of all of the systemic failures that were required for the Hindutva government of India to assassinate a Canadian citizen in BC.
@manas_ I don't discuss issues that I don't have much lived experiences with. I highly suggest starting an info blog & directing people to that for causes you have a lot of lived experiences with. No one listened to me for over 15 years. I just kept typing & doing local direct actions anyways, hoping people would eventually join in but never counting on that.
@PhoenixSerenity I understand. I respect that. I only brought that up to direct attention towards the fact that Hindutva exists and operates at all levels of society and affects everyone, it is not limited to assassination of Sikh leaders or hateful, murderous mobs outside of Sikh Gurudwaras. Hindutva is capable of and implements mental, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual abuse regularly and constantly towards its numerous targets.

@PhoenixSerenity Whenever I engage people on the atrocities of Vietnam, Korea, and many other genocides, I get absolute silence. Not even denial. Some carry the shame whether they admit it or not. Certainly not stopping some of us from continuously supporting genocide.
Canadians are funny this way. People celebrate that Canada did not participate in Vietnam. What they won't accept is all the arms and material support Canada contributed.
@veirling I get told to "Go back to where you came from!" - a lot in Canada, whenever I try to bring up Canada government terrorism & their supports for terrorism on Global South peoples.
I usually respond with: We would LOVE to! Except your buddies bombed our family home 3 times & carpet bombed our entire matriarch village. We were rendered homeless. We should move into your home, kill your family members & take over too. Sound good? Probably NOT. Yet, doing that wouldn't even come close to the shit you're supporting without knowing any FACTS.
I don't usually get any pushback. I usually get either silence or too late apologies.

luv, idk what to do but keep teaching wtsf happened in those entirely illegal wars. You always call us to service, putting our asses on the street. I got to do one this year. Protesting for Palestinian rights in Spokane, WA. But that's it.
I'm so proud of all the people throughout US and Canada that fought against the US and Canadian power structures to reject Palestinian Genocide. One big punchline here is that because Harris/Biden were so bloody cynical it actually contributed to tanking Harris. Arab American families where like, yeah, it's not ok to kill our people.
