A very sunny Thursday morning here in deepest,darkest Yorkshire so I’m going to pull up my big boy pants & crack on with cleaning the filter on the pond - I’ve had an epiphany involving a stress ball & how to stop too much water flowing back into the pond from the filter! More in tonight’s diary update - if you’re really good there maybe piccies!

@MAJ1 You can restrict water in or out with an orifice, a Tee (to split pressure or widen discharge to slow the flow, ... nothing that a dirty filter won't already do. Use my buy Bernoulli's formula P1V1=P2V2 You're welcome LOL
@Rasta Ah but I wanted to completely stop the flow back into the pond - sadly I forgot about the siphoning effect & dirty water got into the pond anyway 
Have topped the pond up & added dechlorinator/ stress tonic, I hope that the gunk will settle overnight & yon fishkies are happy when I go out to see them in the morning.
