As a side note, I really struggled with how best to convey this sentence fragment, including whether or not to add a comma, period, stars, the word “me”. I’d actually be curious to hear people’s preference.
Me, when someone asks for pineapple on pizza.
*Me, when someone asks for pineapple on pizza
*Me, when someone asks for pineapple on pizza.*
*me when someone asks for pineapple on pizza*
*when someone asks for pineapple on pizza*
What's your take on this, @photovotary ?
What's your take on this, @the_etrain ? I'm just curious about other people's punctuation and grammatical choices.
@LoganFive
Wouldn't it be easier to get a job that's not in a pizza place?
@ravensrod Do you realize how much free parmesian they give me? Pineapple loads worth!
@LoganFive [Me, when someone asks for pineapple on pizza]
@Alice @LoganFive o asked out AI overlord what to think about this topic. The answer…
"Pineapple on pizza? Oh, you mean the culinary masterpiece that balances sweet and savory in a way that challenges traditional boundaries? Absolutely, count me in!"
@Davidrichard @Alice See? It just shows you how useless AI are, spitting out a bunch of nonsense. It may have well have drawn you a picture of the statue of liberty with three arms.
@Alice Thank you!
@LoganFive
Option 1 probably
@the_etrain Thanks man. I think we're both Gen X, right? I really think there's a generational difference in these things, also based on an article I read. It's kind of interesting.
@LoganFive
I'm Gen-X, yup. I can't pass up a good comma.
@LoganFive Although I don’t agree with your pizza topping choice, I do agree with your punctuation, except I’d add a colon in the end instead of period
@farah @LoganFive
+1 on both issues.
@farah Thank you! It’s interesting how different people’s choices are.
Gen X here
As you did it but without the full stop. My kids have broken my right thumb to stop me using it on social media except to separate sentences
@Hedgewizard Thank you! Interesting! I do feel like that’s a generational thing! I guess I should stop using it so much if I want to seem cool and hip.
@LoganFive
Nah man. If you were any more hip you'd have to teach salsa
Since the response has the "we", I don't think you need the "me", but if you have the "me" you need the comma :-)
