See? Rachael Reeves and her underling Mr Jones who regard PIP as ‘pocket money’ should be made personally responsible for this poor mans death in awful circumstances.
Reinstate those cuts to disabled benefits now. It was an abhorrent thing to do; and it;s going to cost a lot more lives.

@HarriettMB That's utterly horrific.
@fkamiah17 Isn’t it? I guess that poor man’s sister lives a long way away from him, as she clearly doesn’t visit, just relies on the phone calls and texts.
In the article there are mention of three other people who suffered in similar ways. The reduction of PIP [pocket money] will bring a lot more such cases to light, I have no doubt. I’d like to see a legal action taken against the ministers who bring in such dangerous restrictions on people’s ability to even survive. Those ministers found guilty should be made personally liable, have their tax-payer pension stripped and given to the relevant charity.
@HarriettMB I wouldn't be surprised if the Good Law Project get on top of this pretty quickly.
@HarriettMB just had my PIP update, from April I get an extra £1.30 a week, or an increase of.... £65.00 for a year, that won't even cover the gas/electric rises....
@Thebratdragon I’m not even going to ask about rent, or rates……. It’s horrific.

The DWP is still under investigation for deaths the last time this happened - Blue Tories' austerity & scapegoating.
Sometimes it is a good thing to be housebound, no attacks on the street by pig ignorant bastards.
From the reported details, the DWP broke its own rules and the law. Unsurprisingly.
