@holdenweb @Deixis9 Or "norms" or "gentlemen's agreements" or any other varieties of that weak tea. The law needs to be codified and enforced euqitably or it means *nothing*. Americans are finding our how much of their government is based on unenforceable or easily-ignored norms that decent people adhere to (mostly) but that mean nada to bad actors and let's face it, politics is inherently lousy with bad actors.
