Todays #WoodlandWalks with #Doggo was also #LakesideWalks as we went up to the reservoir and took the 3rd of 4 different routes.

Dozens of trees down from the storms a few weeks ago.

Walked down as far as the dam and back. A 1.5 mile walk, but he was bounding along chasing the ball for a lot of that.

Poor thing was pooped out as he fell backwards trying to jump in the car. I had to lift him up (he didn't like that). He is 12 after all, so less chasing balls & more walking.

We went back to the reservoir today, but took a different route.

There are basically 4 routes we can do, from the 2 car parks at either ends.

Today's was a constant upwards incline. Hard work on the way out, but nice on the way back. I reached the top of one hill and started down; only to round a corner & hit another steeper hill.

Got to the top of that & turned back. Could see across the lake to the dam though.

I'm in semi skiving work mode this week and next.

Basically, I'm not working in the mornings, so I can make sure #Doggo gets a good walk/run/play and do any little errands that need doing.

Then get stuck into it for the entire afternoon, until about 6-7pm.

We've got no deadlines for the next 6 weeks. Next update push isn't until early June and that's only a minor one. The team has that well in hand. We've got the 2 new members starting next month too.

I haven’t kept up with #fungusfriday recently so here’s some Raspberry Slime Mold for you, a day late. This mold can be found across Europe and North America on the damp wood usually on the forest floor. Despite the name, I don’t think they’re super tasty or particularly good for you so maybe leave these little ones off your foraging list

Waterfalls are a treasure trove of texture, light, movement, and life, and therefore I will go chase them! (But to be fair, even the rivers and lakes I’m used to provide interesting scenes as well!)
