Lisa Makes Stuff (she/her)This was yesterday's completed prototype. I'd never made a Dresden Plate before, so this was challenging on 2 fronts. The plate is from thrifted silk neckties. The background and binding are cotton fabrics from my stash. Martha CrimsonThis Christmas I knitted a blanket (~150*200cm) out of an alpaca/wool blend. Ten lengths knitted on an Addi and washed individually before assembling. Each row weighed ~600g, so while it wasn't heavy it still was a bit like a boxing match to rinse those things.Today I knitted a 'measure shawl' out of an alpaca/silk blend. It's still drying, but it seems like 200g is enough to knit 200cm, and _holy shit_ it just disappear when washing!
