Indistinct Metalworker<p>My first few post-flight test shots were inconclusive due to photographer error, but the ultimate verdict is: the film was fine! Both the partial pack that was in the camera and the spare pack. FWIW it was one of the newer style of scanner where you don't have to take electronics out, but not the futuristic-looking CT scanner. YMMV, of course.</p><p>The other <a href="https://sometimes.when.computer/tags/Polaroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Polaroid</span></a> lesson learned this week: I don't love the color frames for travel photography.</p>

Indistinct Metalworker<p>I'm flying with a Polaroid for the first time in years. I had everything ready to ask for my film to be hand-screened, but the security line was bonkers so I decided not to interrupt the flow. Now I get to be the latest participant in the great How Badly Do the Newer Scanners Mess Up Modern <a href="https://sometimes.when.computer/tags/Polaroid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Polaroid</span></a> Film? experiment. Which I honestly don't mind sacrificing a pack of film to; it might look cool!</p>

I got a couple of shots that were blueish and had almost no detail so I tried just shooting my car door with as much shade as possible and blocking the flash. It seemed to come out, not focused but not extremely bright.</p><p>Went to the square to get a shot of the Courthouse in Daylight. Still overexposed some due to the fact the Courthouse is made of highly reflective stone. And I cut off the top of the clock tower which I was focusing on personally.</p><p>But steps taken.</p>
