beige.party is one of the many independent Mastodon servers you can use to participate in the fediverse.
A home to friendly weirdos. The Grey Gardens of the Fediverse (but beige). Occasionally graphically cacographic. Definitely probably not a cult (though you'll never be 100% sure). Beige-bless 🙏

Daniele Verducci 🧉So, it seems my <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.ichibi.eu/tag/macintosh" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#macintosh</a> LC is not immune to the <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.ichibi.eu/tag/capacitorplague" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#capacitorplague</a> 🫤<br>There is not a lot of corrosion, but the electrolyte is visible. I cleaned it up with vinegar and then isopropyl alcohol to stop the corrosion.<br>It seems like I'll need to buy a <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.ichibi.eu/tag/capacitor" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#capacitor</a> kit and have some fun with the soldering iron... 🤷‍♂️<br>But now I want to check it it stills boots.
