Everyone's talking rearmament, but no one's mentioning the #UnitedNations — the thing we supposedly built to stop world wars.

#Europe’s flirting with post-#NATO fantasies while ignoring the one global system that could actually keep us from war. The #UN was never finished, never empowered, and now it's being ghosted right when we need it most.

Time to stop playing empire and start fixing the one structure that could save us all — before it's too late (again).

The United States opposed a UN resolution on cooperation with the Council of Europe, which condemned Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Russia, Belarus, Eritrea, Mali, Nicaragua, Niger, the Republic of the Congo, and Sudan also voted against it.

Unica proposta giusta è
1 - abolire potere di veto
2 - abolire idea di membro permanente o assegnarlo a organizzazioni sovranazionali regionali
3 - dare piena rappresentanza a demografia mondiale

At least 51,000 Palestinians #killed by now, including¹ at least 15,613 #children (of which 825 younger than 1 year; 274 killed immediately after birth), and 8,304 #women.

Since March 2nd Israel has completely halted all entry of all humanitarian supplies, and of any other cargo, including food. Due to this blockade and earlier obstructions, 2 months' worth of food (89,000 metric tons)³ are piling up outside of Gaza.

1.1 million cases of acute respiratory infections; 669,000 cases of acute watery diarrhea; 225,000 cases of skin diseases; 132,000 cases of acute jaundice syndrome²

1.875 million people in need of emergency shelters. About 945,000 of them need winterization support.

About 92% of all #housing units either destroyed (160,000) or damaged (276,000)

Israel has declared 69% of Gaza no-go areas, or issued "evacuation" (displacement) orders for them.
