I haven't been thinking about it for decades, but I just got reminded of the existence of Swatch internet time, which was supposed to provide a unified way of reckoning time across the globe. In decimal time, no less. There were 1000 beats in a day, making a beat a beat about 87 seconds long.
I liked that idea, but it was always marred by being a company thing (introduced by watch manufacturer Swatch), making wide adoption unlikely from the start.

Does not matter if upside down, or mirror image.
Does not matter if you are the clock observing the hands moving counter-clockwise.
It will never appear that way.
When Patrick Troughton arrived in the Tardis, some viewers decried that the show was dead. Decades later, he is considered one of the best Doctors ever. We’re experiencing the same stuff today. A large group of people don’t like the show anymore and cannot fathom that anyone else is still enjoying it. The biggest difference now is that there is an entire industry of reactionaries who rely on that warped POV to make a living. They fan the flames of dissent to get more views. I've just checked and the trilithons and lintels at #Stonehenge have been successfully set to British Summer Time (UTC+1).
I really do wonder if this is a tradition we could now abandon. Such a time consuming exercise twice every year to change them 
Perhaps we should abandon BST and just stick to GMT (UTC+0) and honor our four fathers and five mothers some other way?
