I'm putting some remix, edits and alternate takes on my "Lunchbox" playlist.

Just put up "LFO Infusion Tisane (with Caffeine Beats)" adding drums to my original LFO Infusion Tisane track.

Drums are Univox SR-95 aka Korg Mini Pops 7 aka Jean-Michel Jarre signature drum machine (I think Michael Garrison used the Univox version)

Visitors - "Moth" (1979)

One of my favorite years for music. This is a band from Edinburgh, Scotland.

They only released three 7" EPs, but they were all great. John Peel was a fan. He apparently bankrolled the release of their second single. The band lasted only a year or two. I found this by way of a compilation released in 2016.

It's a really fun and unique mix of post-punk and synth-punk. I see the entire EP on on YT

here's a totally not so late #introduction post because , why not

hi . i'm ruben . i'm not new or anything , i've been around the fediverse for like ... 5 years now i think ? but i figured i might as well make an introduction post to throw myself into the federated timelines for once .

i like tech , both software and hardware wise ( not a programmer or anything though ) , and a good amount of linux and general foss / privacy stuff ( i promise not to be annoying about it , hit me with a bat if i am ) and similar things of that nature .

i'm a synth . a big one , that stores data . with a gooey belly . if that interests anyone . you may see these two posts to see how my sona looks like , and shout out to the artists of both of them . ​:heart_green_mocha:​

i'm also gay ( good ol mlm , ​:ms_gay_man_flag:​ ) , big whoop

i run synth.download , this and another instance for some friends and some other services as well . despite everything above , i honestly , mainly just shitpost and do furry trashposting here and basically everywhere else wherever my presence exists .

for those who prefer the other side , i do exist on bluesky as @synth.download@bsky.brid.gy although activity of that account can't be guaranteed because i find bluesky too limiting personally . this account is also bridged to bluesky but since i rarely post in public visibility , nothing really gets bridged , sorry .
