I hate it when movie trailers reveal too much of the story. I hate it when movie trailers reveal almost nothing of the story.

The trailer for "The Life Of Chuck" falls in the second category. They claim it's the best Stephen King adaptation ever. Well, I don't know. My experience of the trailer was ... well, underwhelming.

letterboxd.comA ★★★★ review of The Double Life of Véronique (1991)Krzysztof Kieslowski's engrossingly mistifying drama has Irene Jacob playing (as you might guess from the title) two roles. The film moves at a deliberate pace and there are times when you're not sure what's going on, before you realize that's not really the point. Career best performance from Irene Jacob (who I still call Audrey Tatou from time to time and that's how she shows up on my phone when she calls me) and makes the job of puppeteering seem sexier than it probably is. Remade in 1994 with Jean-Claude Van Damme as Double Impact.
