Instead, they say, it will replicate the paranoia &amp; turmoil that <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/Latino" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Latino</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/immigrant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>immigrant</span></a> communities experienced after Gov <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/JanBrewer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>JanBrewer</span></a> signed <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/SB1070" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SB1070</span></a>, a divisive state <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/immigration" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>immigration</span></a>-enforcement <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/law" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>law</span></a> passed by <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/Republicans" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Republicans</span></a> in 2010 that came to be known as the “show me your papers law.” That law sparked years of protests &amp; litigation, &amp; has since been partially struck down.</p>
