Occasional connection with the ones we love is a basic human need, so don’t beat yourself up about the occasional flight back to your homeland. In cases like this, minimisation is the thing. For example, make visits longer but less often and fly economy (more seats on the plane = Lower emissions/seat). Just be a <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/consciousconsumer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#consciousconsumer</a> when flying and enjoy it.

PeteDon't get me wrong. I am NOT anti-farming. It is an essential industry. I also grew up on a farm. But let's be honest and open about what is going on and help farmers transition to cleaner methods of food production, such as growing human food directly instead of growing grass and passing it through a cow first 🙂.
