Carney - surprisingly strong, curious what French speakers thought about his French but the interpreters did well, my French isn't enough to keep up. He was level headed. It was clear other candidates saw him as the leading threat. The debate was clearly focused in his direction and he handled that well.
One candidate shone through as PM quality in my opinion. Though, my vote remains and doesn't align with the same party.

My thoughts on the French debate:
Blanchette appeared significantly weak, leaning into Quebec soverignty while trying to lean into federal advantages for trade. I often agree with his high level quips, I didn't today.
Polievire spouted his same slogans, Canada is broken, shit sucks, blah blah. Same shit, different language.
Singh - balanced, challenged Carney appropriately, engaged in honest debate. Didn't claim enough time. Worthy of an exiting opposition leader.

In the Carleton riding, Liberal candidate Bruce Fanjoy thinks he has a chance of winning thanks to the seeds Pierre Poilievre has sown there:
“Fanjoy calls Poilievre a ‘dream opponent,’ noting that, even on his home turf, the Conservative leader is ‘uniquely unlikeable – people are not unopinionated about him.’”

Feel like your vote doesn’t matter? We want to change that. Vote Green on April 28th for electoral reform.

such irrationality!
I think the time has passed for us to point out their hypocrisy. We've been doing it about #MAGA for 10 years now. They revel in how it annoys us. They think we're cucks.
We know they're irrational. They don't care. They don't think like us. Get. In. The. Streets.
Plan Civil War 2.0, unless you know past fascists who left non-violently? Know anyone in the military?
interesting graph. where it come from?
Pretty rich that Poilievre - the guy who has never held a job outside of politics, who wrote that “Politics should not be a lifelong career. Therefore, I would institute a limit of two terms for members of Parliament,” and then has spent over 20 years doing nothing else - would call Carney a “political grifter”
Why do Canadians think majority governments are a good thing?

The moment in the debate when Jagmeet Singh extracted a commitment from Mark Carney to end public subsidies to the oil & gas industry:
'This is why we need New Democrats. Look at that, we got a commitment from Mr. Carney.'
Now, 80 years to the date, the SC Cambuur football club is celebrating the town’s liberation with the unveiling of a special jersey inspired by the Dragoons’ classic uniform.
The uniform features the Canadian Maple Leaf pattern design and the Dragoon’s badge — a springbok antelope running through a grassy plain, symbolizing the regiment’s involvement in the South African War.
LeadNow was instrumental in the run up to 2015 federal election. Check out their ads running in "one of the busiest [skytrain] stations" in Vancouver.

In the French language leaders debate NDP leader Jagmeet Singh names the GAZA GENOCIDE.
Mark Carney REFUSED to.
If you can't stand up to Netanyahu, you're not going to be able to stand up to Trump.
Mike Lindell, who just cried at a judge that he's broke and these lawsuits are destroying him and was given until Friday to prove it, tells a story here about getting detained in Canada because he's trying to cross with a multiple conviction criminal record and holy moly is he ever the biggest snowflake here...these guys demand strong borders but have no idea what they're talking about
I’m 33% of the way on ko-fi!
Help me to achieve my first goal! I want so badly to be able to supply these awesome custom illustrated t-shirts I’ve done up for #ElbowsUp and you can help me with that by either supporting directly or boosting.
I’ve a bunch of downloadable illustrations in my shop with a few added freebies!
Physical products will be available once the goal is met. You’ll be directly supporting a disabled neurodiverse queer Canadian artist Isn’t that a mouthful
Any & all help is appreciated!

Pierre Poilievre is boasting about his intention to use the #NotwithstandingClause to override people’s Charter rights in order to implement his ‘tough on crime’ agenda.
I want #Canadians to consider this within the context of the extrajudicial arrests and disappearances currently happening in Trump’s America, and then think long & hard about whether #Poilievre is the guy we want to put in charge.
So imagine how often he'll show up to do his job and debate in parliament, if elected?
