Purportedly, this is an <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/AutisticSpectrum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AutisticSpectrum</span></a> / <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/neurodivergent" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>neurodivergent</span></a> interpretation.</p><p>To a <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/neurotypical" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>neurotypical</span></a> driver, so the theory goes, it is mere advice that the driver of the car with the bumper sticker will interpret the honks as merely that one likes pizza and ignore it.</p><p>Gobsmacked.</p>

It wasn&#39;t a world-changing revelation, but it helped me to understand certain facts of my being. Just like learning that I am on the <a href="https://beige.party/tags/AutisticSpectrum" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>AutisticSpectrum</span></a>, embracing my <a href="https://beige.party/tags/Queerness" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Queerness</span></a> has helped me to understand why I am the person I am today.</p><p>The last several years have been shittastic, but this year has been the start of an upturn for me. I&#39;ve moved back home, sober from alcohol for almost 9 years now, working at a <a href="https://beige.party/tags/CoOp" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CoOp</span></a> in a city I love, living with my mum who I love more than anything. I&#39;m finally saving money, and my debt is almost completely paid off - I just owe the government for a CERB payment, and I&#39;ll have that paid off by tax season - I paid off my old credit card debt this year, finally.</p><p>I have to admit, I am not very hopeful for the future, for the world at large. There&#39;s so much awful shit going on. Sometimes I think it&#39;s hopeless.</p><p>But I gotta keep going. Otherwise, what else is there? </p><p>I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, and that your new year is glorious.</p><p>❤️🌈 :blobcatace:</p>
