Really enjoying Project Hail Mary so far. Great book!

Okay based on everyone’s emphatically positive reviews this morning, and despite the fact that I was right in the middle of rereading an old favorite (Spoonbenders by Daryl Gregory), I’m now five chapters into the audiobook version of Hail Mary by Andy Weir. It’s SO GOOD, wow! Also the audiobook narrator is just INCREDIBLE. He’s doing accents in Russian, Danish, Chinese, and German without missing a beat. I’m thoroughly engrossed. You all were right. :)

I’m reading 3 books at the moment - it’s good to sit by the fan, reading & getting cool - although I’m tending to read Hornblower before sleep at night. (I’ve 10 books more in the #HoratioHornblower series to get through yet!)

Fantastic story! I can't wait to see the adaptation of a hard sci-fi adventure (i e. science-based) of a gifted science teacher thrown into space to save the world (or two). The ultimate interstellar escape room.
