@glasspusher you know I have had this picture of mum well forever but it wasn't until I blew it up to post it here that I even noticed the snake. She was pretty but very tall awkward and shy but a friend had a pet shop and she modeled with all manner of creatures. Wonder if the skunk knew he was in snake territory.
@glasspusher My dad was 6'2" my mum was 5'10" Im barely 5'4 obviously a hospital mixup.

@glasspusher @Crystal_Fish_Caves We had a pet gopher snake when I was a kid. We had to give up all the furry pets when we moved from the farm to town (because parent's allergies in combo with much smaller land area), but Gilmore had nice hypoallergenic scales. He was very sweet & cuddly,
@Gorfram @glasspusher the kids across the street from me brought home a pet mouse. Their mom would not let them keep it in the house so they put it in the garage. One day, no mouse but a small snake with a mouse shaped lump inside not allowing it back out of the cage. Cool pet snake! which she would also not allow in the house. They were THRILLED they traded up
