On a Monday, I needed to do something a little more relaxing than chores and catching up on the news. Another find from my treasure hoard of images captured in Flagstaff last summer. The quest or battles of this decorative iron "drawing" seem to have different interpretations depending on what is going on in your world when you see it. My first thoughts went to Day of the Dead skeletons trying to outrun attacks. But then I wonder if the helmets and surreal images show Nazi villains. Your guess?

What an odd thing about this image! I posted it many hours ago today and one person I know has found it and faved but I have no idea if anyone else besides @carolannie has noticed it. Odd for me, since I usually will have some comments or notice by now. Maybe it's not very interesting, or maybe a LOT of people are paying attention to the economic apocalypse today.

@cobalt123 i agree the econo.ic lunacy is making us all numb. I had a hard time seeing the detail at first glimpse on my phone, and since I read your comment, I embiggened it and saw the details, which are great, but I am baffled.
@carolannie It is SO ludicrous with the wholesale slash and burn to everything federal that trashing the US economy with GLOBAL economics held hostage by madmen is of course happening at the same time. I just felt I needed to step away for my mental vacation staring at photos and deciding what to work on. This apocalypse scene somehow seemed appropriate.

@cobalt123 It's a cool image but I don't see any of the things you mentioned. Yeah, there are a couple skeletons, but they're riding motorcycles or mopeds and they look like they're having a great time. There's some cars driving on Route 66. An airplane that is also a bird. Some trains. A bunch of cars, including an "electric" one with a plug. A bicycle plane. A stick figure on a mountain. A... shopping mall, maybe? A mountain with a person's head?
