Wondering if it’s an #Ivory problem on iPhone or a problem with the Instance. Been watching over a week and I can’t tell. Sooo tagged for @theropologist as well. If I use my usual icon on Home Screen to open Ivory which is set to beige.party, I can get a count of how many more items are ready above the top one I’m reading in my home view. I have to tap top of my iPhone display to force these to show up. I have set the view to be slow mode view because not doing that is insanely fast and it’s hard to get back to a post I wanted to read.
But after about 3 such attempts, and clicking into my Notifications view, I can no longer get the posts in my Home view to advance. No similar problem for view on Fediverse, Local, notifications, Explore, hashtag search, List view etc. Ideas? I do notice this happens mostly 10 am to 6 pm US Mountain time. We have a small Instance and mostly USians on it.
@theropologist No one has answered yet and it's been hours. Not a problem, but by commenting here it sorta boosts my post. Right at the moment I am NOT having the problem of having Home view posts not advancing, but it's been hours till now it was kind of frozen in place. I really wonder if this is an #Ivory problem.
@cobalt123 Next time this happens can you try it with the web interface? I just tried it now on the web interface and it continually loads the new post numbers at the top of the home screen. I don't need to tap anything, just scroll up to the top of the feed. If you find that it's working in the web interface but not ivory then it's probably the app.
